Sobre este artículo
London: Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press, 1922. This book is being sold as a READING COPY. Frontispiece missing. Illustrated full-page maps illustrate the journeys of the explorers.....John Cabot, Jacques Cartier, Samuel De Champlain, Kelsey, La Verendrye, Hendry, Thompson, etc, etc. Preface by the author. Seventeen chapters are offered beginning with 'The Legend of Lief The Lucky' and ends with 'An Arctic Mystery'. The author has put into story form some of the achievements of the great pathfinders of the northern half of North America, lending an interest which is perhaps lacking in historical narratives of the traditional type. W.S. Wallace explains that the book is not intended to be a history of exploration but rather, a series of stories illustrating the history of Canadian exploration, linked together by brief comment. Green cloth boards with blind-stamped decoration to front board and spine. Not an ex-library. Boards remain bright.... the text clean and complete.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Reading Copy.
