Very informative book on the music halls and the artists who entertained there, 192 pages in bright clean condition, a little rippling to some pages, several old newspaper cuttings concerning music halls pasted onto endpapers, one is by A H Atkins and his signature is on half title page as it was his own copy of the book. On front endpaper is a handdrawn caricature by George Robey, one of the Music Hall stars and inscribed by him Good luck George Robey, underneath in A H Atkins hand is Presented to me by George at the Metropolitan. Many B/w photographs and illustrations, all present as listed plus very informative text, NO dustwrapper, outer boards are worn top and bottom of spine which is faded and spotted. Though not perfect still a pleasing example of this book especially with caricature and signatures SEE IMAGE. DETAILED IMAGES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. Signed by George Robey. First Edition First Printing. Boards. Good Plus/No Jacket. 8 ¾ x 5½ Inches. Hardcover.
