"Eden's 'State of the Poor' has for many years been kown as a classical work in the condition of the labouring classes in England down to the end of the eighteenth century." Red cloth with gilt titling to spine, 383 pages. Some shelf wear especially to corners, top free corners show minor bump, a faint discoloration to front board, some foxing to textblock edge and to a few pages, previous owner's name to ffep. Dust jacket shows sunning to spine and edges, spine has a three inch closed tear, spine ends and corners are chipped. For some international orders we will ask you to approve additional shipping charges to cover the cost of tracking and insurance to your country, but no extra charge will apply without your consent. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

Located at Grace Point Square in the Village of Ganges, close to marinas and Salt Spring\'s renowned Saturday Market, we are open every day except Christmas and New Year\'s. If you want to pick-up a book you saw online, please call or e-mail ahead as many of our listings are kept in a separate storage facility.
