Sobre este artículo
London: W.H. Allen & Co., Limited, 1888. Supposedly, Disraeli had wanted his posthumous biography to be written by Thomas Edward Kebbel (1826-1917) but lacking any written instructions at Disraeli's death, the task was assigned to another. Obviously, Kebbel wrote this bio anyway. This is a Very Good copy of the Second Edition (stated). A scarce title. There is no publication date, but per Copac, Quercus accepts 1888. Red cloth binding, titled and decorated in black. Clean text; xvi, 220 pages; appendix and index; frontis portrait of Disraeli. With 18 pages of publisher's adverts in the rear; interestingly, both paste-downs and endpapers also bear advertising. Mildly bumped; spine faded to pink. Some rubbing and soiling to the covers. Nonetheless, an attractive volume.. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
