A history of steam navigation in the districts of Muskoka and Parry Sound 1906 to present. Partial wrap-around colour illustration on the jacket from a painting by Thomas Sinclair of Sharon, Ontario. The book is both a pictorial record of the ships that sailed the waters of Muskoka, and a written history of those ships, the ports, and the people. The appendices contain a two-page map of The Muskoka Lakes, a bibliography, and an index of the steamboats, and the people and places. A near fine copy in a very good dust jacket. The jacket misses near fine due to minor creasing at the head of the front panel. The book you see in the photo with this listing is the book for sale.
