Stated "First published in 1986 by Viking Penguin Inc" on copyright page and no additional printings indicated; 22.95 price printed on dust jacket (so is not the book club edition). Book as new except slightest loss of color on lower corners of spine, page edges not quite pristine; interior clean and unmarked, binding square and tight. Jacket has slightest wrinkling of edges, cover shows very minor rubbing visible only in light reflected off the surface; upper and lower edges of flaps just a little tanned. Jacket now in clear archival mylar sleeve. Very nice condition of a true first printing. Sinopsis
IT weaves a supernatural tale of seven socially outcast kids who find themselves brought together one summer to battle an ancient and deadly shape-shifter known as IT. IT emerges from the sewers once every 27 years, using it's polymorphic abilities to terrify and prey upon children in the rural town of Derry, Maine - often in the form of the demonic Pennywise the Clown. IT was made into a television mini-series in 1990, starring Tim Curry and more recently as a blockbuster film (2017).
