Tokyo News Service, LTD, n.d. (ca. 1955). First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Signed. First printing (?) with no printing history on copyright page. SIGNED, without inscription, by Rachel E. Carr on the title page. String bound; gilt stamped front panel, applied photographic image to front panel. Illustrated throughout with line drawings and photographic images, some in color. The covers and endpapers are edge toned, the string binding, although secure is loose, and the bottom threads are starting to fray. The rear endpaper has two chips (stuck to the rear pastedown cloth), and the text leaves are gently toned.
