Brown cloth-covered boards, red spine lettering, 11 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches, unpaginated. Dustcover with mild browning, several closed tears and two chips, the largest 1/2 inch (see photos). "Steadmans first anthology. Cartoons, caricatures, and illustrations from Private Eye, Punch, The Daily Telegraph and other English periodicals with some previously unpublished drawings as well." (From Scott M. Burns' excellent, comprehensive Steadman bibliography.) One of the sections in the book is "Hogarth Schmogarth"! Superb early Steadman. (1722RO007). 1st Edition. Hardcover.
