The fifth book in the much-loved, 'Just William' series by Richmal Crompton. A collection of short stories following the adventures of William Brown and his band of friends known as 'The Outlaws'. The William books have sold over 12 million copies in the United Kingdom alone. In the publisher's full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear only and a small mark to the rear board. Previous owner's ink inscriptions to the front free endpaper and some light spotting to the rear free endpaper. The original dust wrapper is in smart condition. Shelf wear and chipping to the edges. Closed tears to the front panel and a small open tear to the rear panel. Some spotting to the spine, but otherwise very bright. Internally, firmly bound. Binding worn between pages 48 and 49. Pages very bright and clean with some light age-toning. Small tear to page 158, put this does not affect the text. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
