The author was eminently qualified to write this history as a long time resident & student of this area of Old Oklahoma & Payne Co.. He assembled a huge collection of glass-plate negatives, some of which are used in this book, & some of which are by the famed O.T. photographer, W. S. Prettyman. Fine in worn, but essentially complete dj. Top of backstrip chipped.
