[i]-xxix, [3], [1]-875, [1, blank] pp. With folding frontispiece map of the Financial District in New York, two folding charts, twelve black-and-white plates and ninety illustrations in the text. This volume also includes twelve appendices with historical records and statistics.
Original full black paper boards, stamped in blind. Spine lettered in gilt. Some very light foxing in places. In original blue and orange dust jacket. Jacket is extremely bright, with just a bit of shelfwear and two small, quarter-inch closed tears to top edge of front panel. Top edge of back panel has a small amount of dampstaining. Overall about fine.
Schabacker was the youngest financial editor of Forbes Magazine and wrote three influential books on the stock market, Stock Market Theory and Practice, 1930; Technical Analysis and Stock Market Profits, 1932; and Stock Market Profits, 1934, before he died at the young age of 36.
