Sobre este artículo

Dallas, TX: Verity Press, Inc, 1998 Verity Press, Dallas, TX. 1998. Hardcover. First Printing. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: VG+; Fine but for linear cut of 4 inches on the front board that does not penetrate the buckram. DJ: VG+; Fine but for 4 inch cut through front cover on below medals. Blue buckram boards and spine with bright gold lettering on spine. 692 pp. The author after years of research has uncovered a massive distortion of history. The authors show killers who have fooled prosecutors and gotten away with murder, phony heroes who have become the object of documentaries on TV, liars and fabricators who have flooded publishing houses with false tales of heroism. They show how this has denigrated the service, patriotism and the gallantry of the best warriors America ever produced. A very presentable copy in Brodart mylar and a repaired front cover.

Sinopsis

Stolen Valor: How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of its Heroes and its History is a self-published book by B.G. Burkett & Glenna Whitley which asserts that there is a false popular view of Vietnam War veterans as broken men and psychopaths. In addition the book purports to document "wannabes": people lying about Viet Nam experience, often when they had never been there. B.G. Burkett is a Vietnam War Veteran who served with the 199th Light Infantry Brigade as a company grade officer.
