Part exhibition catalogue, part biography, this is a retrospective on the works of the French born printmaker and writer, Francoise Gilot, who bridged the gap between the post war Paris school and the contemporary American art scene. Binding is firm. Gray cloth boards with gold stamping are clean with minimal shelf wear. Endpapers and text appear clean and unmarked. Dust jacket shows light edge wear with tiny tear at lower end of spine. Includes many b&w and color illustrations with notes and a short bibliography.
