Original brown cloth decorated to front boards and spine, in gilt, navy, and deep rose, spine darkened, with faint spotting, corners very lightly bumped and the spine ends a little bumped and pushed in. The top edge gilt, a few pages unopened. Small bookseller's stamp to the front endpaper at lower edge, clean throughout, save for some occasional foxing, with heavier foxing to the title-page and final leaves, hinges strong and the binding tight and square. A nice copy overall.
