Bound in blue embossed cloth, spine lettering gilt, yellow endpapers, illustrated in black and white. A very good copy. Nordhoff was an American journalist and author of several books. He was the grandfather of the famed Charles Bernard Nordhoff, co-author of Mutiny on the Bounty and several other works.
