1st edition, published by Tilt and Bogue in London, 1841. Illustrations may have been drawn by author herself, as no name is given to any individual illustrator. In poor condition. The hardcover is very worn as a result of age and has several small tears visible along the spine. The binding is coming loose, but remains intact, and the flyleaf at the back of the book has come loose. There is a small inscription penned by a previous owner towards the front of the book, and there is both tanning and foxing visible on the inside pages.
