Melbourne: 2/2nd Pioneer Battalion Association 1953. xvi+288pp. Maroon cloth boards. Gilt lettering spine. Previous owner's bookplate attached to front endpaper. Signed by author on half-title page. Book firm and very clean. D/W not price clipped. Wrapper quite good however does have damage to top section of spine - app. 3" loss to top of spine and spine sunned. Much of the lost section is included loose. "The history of the 2/2nd Pioneer Battalion from when it was raised in 1940; through its action in the Middle East and New Guinea to Borneo and final victory."
