Presentation is addressed only to "Dear Colonel..." Above this is an older inked notation that "this book belongs to A. M. Harvey (?), below which is affixed a more modern address label. Date line reads "Erie, Kansas, Sept. 28, 1920. The author was of Erie, Kansas, in Neosho County. Blue cloth covers are scuffed and rubbed. Gilt stamped lettering is faded. There is clear tape reinforcement over the spine ends. Hinges (internal) are intact, though volume is a little shaken and there are a few loosened signatures. Contents show scattered lightly penciled underlining and brackets. Otherwise clean and intact. . Inscribed and Signed. Second Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Fair/No Dust Jacket.
