Sobre este artículo
Ft. Meyers, Florida: The 386th Bomb Group Association, Inc., 1991. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Mild, faint spotting on the top edge of the page block and a trace of shelf wear. The dust jacket has some light rubbing wear at the corners and spine ends. Protected now in a Mylar sleeve. Two pages at the beginning of the book have some yellow highlighting. The book has a gift inscription to family members from a member of the 555th Bomb Squadron. His name, Christopher P. Zivalich, is highlighted on page 167, an index of Personnel Assigned to 555th Bomb Squadron. "Chris" indicated in his inscription on the fly leaf that he served with that squadron in Northern France in 1945. 191 pages plus a page titled Historical Calendar 386th Bombardment Group (M). The M in parentheses is for Medium (Medium Bombardment Group). Numerous photographs, personal experiences, and historical data that document the history were provided by members of the 386th Bomb Group Association, Inc. The first edition of this book was published in 1987, though the history was written and printed at the close of World War II at a printing plant in St. Trond, Belgium, which had been closed during Nazi occupation. This second edition includes an Epilogue, which brings the history of the group up to 1990. Laid in at the front of the book are several copies of pages and articles related to the book, including a UNA Hawaii newsletter that features the 555th member who inscribed the book (Chris Zivalich). .
