An important figure in the women's suffrage movement, Harriette Shattuck wrote several books, including this one and "The Woman's Manual of Parliamentary Law." 4 1/4" x 7 1/2", 44 pages, DANTE'S DIVINE COMEDY is a study of the 1320 epic poem. Overall condition is VERY GOOD PLUS, with no dust jacket (possibly as designed) Pages = Very Good Plus: yellowed as expected with age, else clear, tight, sharp, no marks. Cover (red cloth boards with embossed designs, and particulars in gold gilt) = Very Good Plus: overall generally worn with no specific defects, remaining tight, sharp and square.
