Patterned hardcover, color frontis plate, other illustrations throughout in black and white, illustrated endpapers, illustrated dustjacket. The book is in good to very good condition with good hinges, firm text block, clean pages with a very few tiny finger smudges to margins, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is priceclipped and has some age darkening and spotting ot the white background, closed tear to upper front (no paper loss), tiny chips to corners and spine ends, veyr little paper loss.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Sinopsis
The Story of Doctor Dolittle is a 1920 book about Doctor John Dolittle and his animals. This book is the first in a series of children's books by Hugh Lofting. Doctor Dolittle is a doctor who can speak with the animals in their own languages. He starts treating animals instead of human patients.
