The colophon reads: "This book has been produced con amore by the friends of Frederic W. Goudy and the author. The title page portrait is reproduced from a drawing by William Oberhardt. The book was composed on Monotype Goudy Modern at the Thistle Press, printed at the Peter Pauper Press on Curtis Colophon Text, and bound by H. Wolff, New York. Of the 1950 copies printed, 350 have been reserved for The Typophiles as Chap Book No. 41." Rathé 41. First Edition, Limited 1,950 copies. Hardcover. Fine condition/No dust jacket. About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole.
