Sobre este artículo

Garden City, New York: Doubleday & Company, 1954. This lovely New Edition from 1954 includes a new Introduction by Ralph Barton Perry. It also includes Helen Keller's letters between 1887 and 1901, as well as a supplementary account by John Albert Macy of Helen's education, including passages from the reports and letters of her teacher, Anne Mansfield Sullivan. The book includes a lovely frontis illustration of Helen with Anne Sullivan, as well as nine other photographs, including Helen with famous people such as Alexander Graham Bell or the actor Joseph Jefferson. The book is in Fine condition with a Fine, unclipped dust jacket. The book is bound in a burnt sienna cloth with gilt spine lettering. The binding is tight and secure, and the text pages are clean and bright throughout. I noticed a few turned-over corners but that's about the extent of any flaws, except for a small closed tear on the rear endpaper. The dust jacket has some rubbing at the spine tips and several tiny tears. I've placed the dust jacket into a Brodart protective sleeve. The book measures 5 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches and includes 382 pages, with Index. . Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
