Black half morocco over blue cloth covered boards with raised bands and gilt titles and vignettes to the spine, attractive pale blue and gilt patterned end-papers. Condition very good, corners and spine edges and hinges rubbed, front hinge split, some spotting to first and last few pages, previous owner has written name of another book on the front end-paper else contents clean. With numerous illustrations and diagrams including full colour and full page plates and maps. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
