Sobre este artículo

London: Ward, Lock & Bowden, Limited, 1894. This is a Near Fine copy of the author's first book [which he dedicated to his mother]. Hubin, 41. Tan cloth bindin with beveled edges; titling on the front cover and spine in giltt. Decorated on the front cover with a sailing ship in gilt, with crossed sabre and pistol on the spine. Clean text; 300 pages, with decorative endpapers. Frontis illustration and four others within by Stanley L. Wood. There is a signature on the reverse of the half-title [which appears contemporary to Quercus]. The Title Page has some light spotting due to offset from the illustration; a truly tiny bit of fade along the bottom edge. Else a Fine copy of a title that is scarce seen in such good condition. In an archival plastic protector.. First UK Edition. Decorative Cloth. Near Fine/No Jacket. Illus. by Stanley L. Wood. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
