Sobre este artículo
Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.: W.W. Norton & Co., Inc., 1980. First Edition Later Printing 2nd Printing. Cloth. VG+/VG. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. The groundbreaking debut book that would launch Ann Rule's career as the queen of the true crime genre. It details her relationship with Ted Bundy while both worked at a Seattle crisis hotline, where, unknown to her, he was actually the violent serial murderer of young Washington women whom she was investigating as a reporter. Bundy was still alive on Florida's death row when she wrote this, & she refers to him as "like the younger brother I had lost...'' A FIRST EDITION, Second Printing, from 1989, this hardcover small quarto (6.5" x 9.5") has a matte black cloth-wrapped spine, lettered in gilt, with gray paper over boards, in 350 pages, no photos (these were not added until later editions). Condition is VG+: completely clean, just lacks that brand new crispness, with dust dulling to outside page edges. Binding is strong, with a slight rightward lean. Pages lightly tanned but completely unmarked save for former owner's bookplate to ffep. The unclipped DJ (no price, but no BOMC blurb either, & no emboss to rear board) is VG, with light chipping & creasing to extremities. Protected in clear mylar by former owner, who also taped it to book inside front & back covers. Our photos show the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping on all orders received by 2pm weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends, & holidays ship very next business day.
