Vera Caspary (1899 - 1987) was an American writer of novels, screenplays and short stories. She was one of the most prominent women writers and playrights of her generation and also one of the most forward-looking in her terms of the role of women. Several of her books were made into movies including Laura directed by Otto Preminger in 1943. Cloth covers scuffed and worn. Firmly bound and internally a very good copy.
