Fair in an about Good jacket, unclipped ($2.50), trimmed at the top edge, generally creased, stains on the flaps, stamped "American Lending Library" on the front flap. Black cloth, rubbed at the bottom edge, bumped at the top. Bound with reading wear and a forward lean, covered bookplates on the endpapers, date stamps on the back. Irish's New England-set murder-mystery that sees a vacationing New York detective try to solve five seemingly unrelated murders.
