Sobre este artículo

London: Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1969. 8vo. 128pp. Original cloth; dust jacket. A very good copy wigth light spotting to top sheet edges, the jacket with several closed tears. FIRST EDITION, first printing. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED by Richler to William Miller: "William, Bob Gottlieb always called it 'St. Urbain's Whoresman' - now Tony [Meeuwissen, jacket designer] has gone one better. See Jacket. Affectionately Mordecai Richler." Richler has been shortlisted for the 1971 Booker Prize for 'St. Urbain's Horsemen,' losing out to Naipaul's 'In a Free State.' Robert Gottlieb was a notorious editor for the likes of John Le Carre and Joseph heller, and was a friend of Richler's. This is a fine presentation copy of a work rarely seen inscribed.
