New York, New York, U.S.A.: New Directions, 1947. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. A Streetcar Named Desire: 1947 New Directions First Edition, sixth printing of Williams' classic story. The hardback is in good condition. There is no DJ. The interior is clean and tight and the outer boards have wear and a bit of paper loss at the edges and corners. There is a small missing piece at the top of the spine affecting the A and S in the title. The Glass Menagerie: 1949 New Directions FIRST Thus, First printing in VG+/Fair condition. The HB is very clean and tight but the unclipped DJ is missing a large piece along the front bottom affecting the "Tennessee." Otherwise very minor edgewear.
