Included: a handwritten letter from Vernon Bartlett to Edna and Frank Bradlow (the Africana historians and collectors). The dustjacket is much worn and torn, scuffed, marked by hand and shelf. It is secure. The boards have shelving wear and marks about the edges, corners. The spine has pull/ shelving wear to the head and foot. The boards are comfortable and sure. The papertrims have foxing. The early and later pages are foxed, tanned. The pages are overwhelmingly contented, clean, clear, certain, tidy, alert. fk.
