Each set contains 12 glass slides that reproduce the same images but are different in their size. The 12 slides of the larger set, Serie A, are 7.75 x 2.5 inches (20 x 6cm), housed in the original red patterned slide-top box with label. The 12 slides of the smaller set, A, are 6 x 1.5 inches (15 x 4cm), housed in the original cardboard box with label (staples of one edge present but loose). Rare, vividly colored glass slides, each comprised of four scenes in a sequential scenario typical of Struwwelpeter, showing children who get into trouble and suffer the consequences. "Die hübschen Gedichte zu diesen Bildern sind nur im Original-Struwwelpeter des Herrn Dr. Hoffmann zu finden." Slight bubbling in black perimeter. One plate in the larger set is scratched. All intact, with original tape along edges.
