Born to a family of humans, he lives in New York City with his parents, his older brother George, and Snowbell the cat. Though he's shy and thoughtful, he's also a true lover of adventure. Stuart's greatest adventure comes when his best friend, a beautiful little bird named Margalo, disappears from her nest. Determined to track her down, Stuart ventures away from home for the very first time in his life. He finds adventure aplenty. This was White's first children's book, and it is now widely recognized as a classic in children's literature. It was illustrated by the award-winning artist Garth Williams, also his first work for children. A clean very presentable reading copy.

Reseñas

This classic remains timeless. E.B. White is a master in giving children an engaging story while weaving nature lore and nature facts throughout. Children identify with short statured Stuart Little who must navigate the world of large people with his wits and fortitude. Children follow his adventures all the while subtly learning about the lives of cats, birds and even flora around him. Highly recommend.
