Original publishers quarter black buckram binding with grey paper boards. Rubbing to boards with some minor insect damage (tiny silverfish grazes) to foot of rear gutter hinge & associated thinning to some of the paper at top margin of rear cover with boards just showing at the top left corner. A number of small marks. Internally complete. "With the Author's Compliments" label tipped in on front blank endpaper. A few small fox spots to prelims only. No loose & no missing leaves. A Rare study of Snails (Ampullaria) by Alderson - Member of the Malacological Society of London and the Conchological Society of Great Britain and Ireland. .
