Cambridge: Cambridge at the University Press, 1923. Cloth. Good. 9" by 6". Not Stated. A smart copy of this scarce work on the customs of people in North Borneo. Scarce work. With illustrated frontispiece. A detailed anthropological study on British North Borneo and the Malay Peninsula, with reference to customs and beliefs of different districts, folk-tales and their origins, slang and more. Written by Ivor Hugh Norman Evans, a British anthropologist, ethnographer, and archaeologist. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and a few marks to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light spotting to the first and last few pages.
