Sobre este artículo
New York: Vanguard, 1945. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. John Groth. Illustrated throughout by Groth. Silver stamping on front cover slightly eroded, otherwise a very fine copy in a VG jacket this is slightly scratched and reinforced on spine recto and verso. Wear to folds as usual. Jacket is unclipped (3.50) " Groth was a war correspondent as well as a prominent American artist when he visited Europe during the final stages of WWII. His Daumier-like drawings depict both the battle front and the lives of citizens in the war zone. Hemingway's introduction is an affectionate tribute to this un-war like artist".
