Sobre este artículo
Zurich: Belser Verlag, 1983. Hardcover. Very Good. Zurich, Belser Verlag, 1983 (facsimile edition). Duodecimo, 240, [4] leaves. Gilt-decorated full sheepskin, all edges gilt (now a little rubbed in the centre); small light-coloured area on an early blank; an excellent copy in the original cloth-bound book-form box (a little rubbed and marked, with light wear to a bottom edge). The box also contains a companion introductory volume (in German) by Luigi Michelini Tocci (octavo, 47 pages; cloth; in fine condition). A handsome facsimile edition of this small illuminated book of hours. The original, held by the Vatican Library, was produced around the year 1500; it is written in a French Gothic script and contains charming miniatures and decorations from several Flemish workshops. This is Volume 66 in the series 'Codices e Vaticanis selecti quam simillime expressi iussu Ioannis Pauli PP II concilio et opera curatorum Bibliothecae Vaticanae'. It is also one of the 'Belser Faksimile Editionen aus der Bibliotheca Apostolica Vaticana'. [2 items].
