This is a first or very early edition, with no later titles mentioned in the series listings at the front of the book and the back panel of the dust jacket. The pages show light foxing on the edges and preliminary pages, but no marks or wear. The orange cloth covers are fresh, with light wear only to tips and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, but shows considerable wear, with some paper missing at the top and bottom of the spine. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: Sue and Doctor Bill now have three children, and Sue is quite happy with her job as wife an mother until she revisits the hospital where she began her nursing career. Then she begins to wonder if she is wasting the expensive training she received there. But then, Sue discovers the importance of her own job. She nurses the neighbourhood; she finds work for a crippled farmer; she helps to bring the artist Mona Stuart and her teen-age daughter Cal together. And always something is happening at home for Sue and Bill and their faithful Veazie Ann to cope with.
