With nine inserted plates, one of which is a double-spread copper engraving, several in-text illustrations, initials, head-pieces and tail-pieces. An important study of the architecture and sculpture in Venice from the Middle Ages, organized chronologically and by artist. Small stamp on title page, very mild foxing and offsetting, some wear along the spine. A bright and clean very good+ copy. In the Italian language. Cicogna 4653. ; Octavo.
