Sinopsis
The Supernaturalist tells the story of thirteen-year-old Cosmo Hill, an orphan in Satellite City. Cosmo and the other orphans are abused and used at the "Clarissa Frayne Institute for Parentally Challenged Boys" and escape as soon as they can! Cosmo finds himself in the company of "Supernaturalists" who have special abilites that allow them to see strange blue parasites who feed on the life force of injured people. They spend their nights destroying the parasties to save humanity, or so they believe. Winner of the Golden Duck Award , Eleanor Cameron Award for Middle Grades , Pacific Northwest Library Association Young Reader's Choice Award for Intermediate (2007) , Michigan Library Association Thumbs Up! Award Nominee (2005)
