Exactly thirty years after the publication of Henry Hallam's "View of the State of Europe during the Middle Ages" (1818) in which the author surveyed the political development of the principal west European countries, paying particular attention to England's Anglo-Saxon and Norman constitutions, Hallam published this supplemental notes to complete his masterpiece.

Spine and upper margin of front cover partly rubbed. Some foxing to fly leaves only. Binding in overall good to good+, interior in very good condition.
