An unmarried Marquess, a young titled widow running for not very good reasons a craft shop in a seaside resort, his desparate younger sister, and his lovelorn male secretary. The story is carried at a good pace, everyone expresses just the right amount of inner turmoil and confusion, and people dodge in and out of library doors like a French farce. I enjoyed it greatly. .
