Sobre este artículo
Kennebunkport: Mercer House Press, 1979. Paperback. 72p., forward (sic), survey analysis, bibliography; softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch black wraps, a beat-up copy (as if carried in a back pocket), inked underlines and brackets in foreword. First issue of this revised edition: as is, dented & torn but readable. Author's note states his recent efforts have been "to improve upon the quality of information supplied." Black publishers and editors ignored his 1970 questionaires (mailed) so he had to depend on telephonic interviews which were liable to PR exaggeration. He subsequently encountered forceful charges of black on black racism. La Brie's note seems candidly honest. Originally published in 1970 as "The Black Press in America: a Guide," this an updated version.
