Sobre este artículo
Horace Liveright, 1929. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Extremely rare English-language edition of one of Reck-Malleczewen's early novels, in dust jacket. The book itself is near-fine in purple boards with silver titles and gold decorations; a touch of rubbing to the corners. Name and date on flyleaf, otherwise pages are bright and clean. In a very good dust jacket ($2.50 price intact) with light chipping to the spine ends and corners, a few closed tears, and slight edgewear. The front panel illustration by Paul Wenck is in a somewhat art deco style. Reck-Malleczewen was a Polish novelist who had many of his books banned by the Nazis. He denounced the Nazi regime and was sent to the concentration camp of Dachau, where he was executed in 1945.
