Sobre este artículo

(Windhoek: SWA/Namibia Information Service, 1982). 210 x 296 mm; pictorial wrappers; pp.40; colour photographs and town plan; trilingual text: English, Afrikaans, German. Wrappers a little rubbed; some fox spots. Good to very good condition. "Swakopmund was founded on 4 August 1892, when Hauptmann Kurt von Francois erected two beacons where the mole is today. In 1916 Swakopmund ceased to be a port, and harbour facilities were developed at Walvis Bay. Subsequently Swakopmund gradually became the most important holiday resort on the west coast. The town's pleasant climate and vast expanse of coastline offer excellent opportunities for angling and water sports." .
