A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean and bright. Inscribed by the author on the illustrated front endpaper "For Audrey with love [love heart drawing] Colin McNaughton" underneath which is a sketch of Preston Pig. The recipient is Audrey Adams, the author's editor at the Andersen Press who worked with and published many of our finest contemporary authors and illustrators.
