This is one of 650 hardcover copies with illustrations by Charles Lang and issued in a slipcase (the true first edition was mass market paperback original).
7-1/2 by 10-1/4 inches. 608 pages. First hardcover edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket (this copy does not have the minor edgewear seen on most copies because unlike most copies, the slipcase isn't too small). Slipcase near fine. This copy is no. 512 of 650 signed by McCammon and Lang on a tipped in page. This copy also has the single-page prospectus/ad reproducing the original sketch for the jacket; this sheet is signed by the illustrator Charles Lang.
In all, as nice of a copy of this book as you could hope for.
