Orig. published by Viking in June 1954, this is a Book Club Edition, lacking the red topstain & with a tiny red mark to inner bottom corner of rear board, second-state DJ with reviews. Hardcover small octavo has olive-yellow cloth-covered boards with stamped green birds & red title lettering to front & spine. Condition is VG+: very clean, binding strong but with a slight rightward lean, pages creamy white & unmarked with a hint of tanning. Very mild bumping to lower front board. The corner-clipped DJ is VG: bright & colorful, with modest rubbing & chipping to extremities; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free! Sinopsis
Sweet Thursday is a 1954 novel by John Steinbeck. It is a sequel to Cannery Row and set in the years after the end of World War II. According to the author, "Sweet Thursday" is the day after Lousy Wednesday and the day before Waiting Friday.
