Fine-/No Jacket (none Issued?). 7.5 Cms x 13 Cms. half-title+f/piece (picture of angel)+95, brown endpapers, dark brown (?) top edge; light orange decorative borders thyroughout, inc.t.p., all unopened except final 2 leaves, which have been opened a little clumsily, this is the only fault I have discovered; covers have dark leather appearancew with panelled title to front in gilt and green, no spine lettering. Originally appeared as first section of Arnold's 1869 Culture and Anarchy. Apparently scarce. Reprints Arnold's famous essay/talk on cutlure and religion. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
