Sobre este artículo

New York, New York, U.S.A.: Yearling Books, 1991. Reprint . Soft cover. Near Fine/None as Issued. BRAND NEW copy, w/trace margin discoloration. A sequel to the Time Quartet beginning with A Wrinkle in Time. First published in 1978, this Commemorative Edition carries prefatory remarks by Madeleine L'Engle (1918-2007) dated 1991. The author reminds us in the Time novels, Meg and Polly ask some "big questions", such as "Are we alone in the universe or not?", as we are all apt to ask as we are growing up. She says, "I write the books I do because I'm still asking the questions ... I go out at night and look at the ... hundreds of billions of stars ... I'm looking at time as well as space ... so I send Meg to the outer galaxiers ... and send Meg and Charles Wallace and Polly into time past and time future." How lucky readers are that Madeleine L'Engle never stopped asking big questions.

Sinopsis

A Swiftly Tilting Planet is a 1978 science fiction novel by Madeleine L'Engle, part of the Time Quartet. In A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Charles Wallace Murry, a very advanced and perceptive child in A Wrinkle in Time and A Wind in the Door, has grown into an adolescent. His intelligence and remarkable goodness carry him through an adventure in time to save the world from nuclear disaster threatened by Mad Dog Branzillo, the dictator of the fictional South American country of Vespugia.
